This dog collar utilizes a slip closure, also called a choker style collar. Sizing is given as a single neck length. Measure your dogs neck size or its current collar length (not including buckles) to obtain correct sizing, and then select a size approx 1-2 inches larger

my dog is in training and we were given a collar which functions the same but was made of such a thin cord that I did not feel safe that it would not break, and I was a little worried it could hurt my dog. This collar is nice and thick so I know it will not break. It also has nice rings on it which the other does not. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because one of the rings pulled apart slightly. they sent me a new one when I told them what happened. Great customer service. Highly recommend

Large bore very secure. For 30 # and below would suggest the 3/8 " sizing. Vivid colors - easily able to be seen in the woods.

These round rope collars have disappeared from the market some time ago, and I could not find them in any pet stores. I ended up buying two of them - they are great for the dogs that like to pull and those that slip out of the regular collars.

My dog has such bad reactions to metal chain collars, but she needs a choke collar as she will slip out of a normal collar because of large neck, and a small head. This collar is soft and gentle and never causes her to break out in a rash and it doesn't discolor her hair. I have searched high and low for this collar and haven't been able to find it in any nearby pet stores. They have tried to order it in with no success, so I was so happy to find it online at your store. Thank you for having this collar.
