It's a nice muzzle. We use it because our lab swallows things he shouldn't (no chewing involved). He's had to had multiple surgeries to remove objects from his intestines. I wanted to try this brand of muzzle. The price was good and it had a nylon strap. Our other has leather which stretches over time and he can get out of it. Plus I wanted to give him more room to pant. This one is wider around (bought the largest) but the length is short. It's right at his nose. He is a large 90lb English lab. This would not work for any dog who doesn't have a shorter muzzle. Like no Great Dane or shepherd. I'll only use it as an emergency back up. They just don't make muzzles big enough for him.

I have a 14 year old Cockapoo who no longer likes to take a bath. This basket feature of this muzzle saved me from getting nipped and allowed me to wash and trim my dogs muzzle as well as the rest of him. I would give it 5 stars but I was originally sent the wrong size and the strap is much too long and the faster clip difficult to open.
