It is also the question that started us on the long journey of opening Hot Dog Collars. Our experience with pets started over 25 years ago with our first dog, Ruff. Yes, he barked a lot, and yes, a 3 year old named him. And even though he was a 7 pound Yorkie who was crazy enough to chase 1200 pound horses, we loved him. We wanted the best for Ruff, and we also wanted to enjoy every moment of pet ownership. This meant spoiling him and making it even more fun to see him bouncing down the hall towards us. We did this with fun neck wear and collars. See, it didn't mean much to Ruff to have a brand new collar, but it meant a lot to our family. it made owning a pet even more enjoyable. After all, if we could get a laugh at a 7 pound dog wearing a spiked collar, then why couldn't everyone else. And that was it, from that point on, Hot Dog Collars has been here to help you spoil your dog with some hot dog collars. After Ruff, came Wicket. Another small dog with a big heart. Wicket was a Brussels Griffon, just like the dog in As Good As It Gets (The late 90's Jack Nicholson movie). Well, ok, as you can see from the picture, not exactly like that.

Since our opening, we have helped spoil thousands of pets. While the temptation is there to expand and make the most of our business, we like the fact that it is still family owned and operated. This allows us to keep a watchful eye on not only the quality of our products, but also the quality of our customer service. We spend a lot of time searching for great dog collars and getting them to you, the dog owner.
