By meeting with their coordinator weekly to receive materials, the artisans can earn a living while maintaining their rural and more traditional lifestyle. Averaging one collar per day, the mamas create these original, one-of-a-kind designs. Beads are hand sewn in leather, then an overlay of leather is glued and stitched on the back. Please note that since these collars are hand made, the final design may vary slightly from the image. As a result, your collar will be one-of-a-kind collar that NO ONE else will have. Buckles are solid, hand-cast brass.

Each collar is sized such that the middle hole on the collar will be used at the lowest # in the sizing. For example a size 7-9 inch collar will use the middle hold if you're pup measures 7 inches. If your measurement falls right at a break point (i.e. 9 inches using the previous example), we strongly suggest that you order the higher size of the two (in this case, the 9-11 inch collar).
