When I saw this I thought it was so cute. When I was ordering, the medium size was out of stock. So I thought I would try a small one in hopes it would fit. I have a toy poodle. She is about a year and a half old and weighs approx. 8lbs. She is such a good dog! When I received it and put it on her, it was too small. I was sad. Then a surprising thing happened. We ended up with a toy poodle puppy. She was 16 weeks old & oh so cute. We got her because nobody wanted her. It was a sad situation. Then she was with another person who did not want her. So if we did not take her she would have gone to a home known for abuse. Of course we had to rescue her. She doesn't weigh anymore than 2-3lbs (she is a smaller breed of toy poodle and is not suppose to get bigger than 5lbs) and this little cheerleader outfit is a perfect fit for her. She loves it. She prances around when I put it on her for the football games on Sunday. ..............It didn't take long to understand why nobody wanted her. I figured it out right away...she is so so so naughty! She doesn't have a name yet because I want to pick out the perfect name for her. I would love to call her Marley (like the movie) because she is so naughty, but everybody uses that name now. It would be the perfect name for her now, but I believe she just needs lots and lots of love and somebody to work with her every single day. I am 'stuck' with her now because I could not uproot her again, the poor little thing. She just needs some consistency and lots of love...and of course a name! LOL Cute or naughty, she is without a doubt, adorable when she wears her Minnesota Vikings Cheerleader Outfit. So it worked out just fine. Even though I tried to order the small size for my 1st puppy...and it turned out to be too small...I had another puppy drop in to my life...and it fits her just fine.
