  • I was expecting the rope to be a little narrower but it stills works well for training my dog. Pink color is very bright. Doesn't hug her neck as the chain did. Its very heavy duty and cushioned as advertised.

  • I especially like these round braided training collars for dogs; they are soft yet strong. These collars are very well made and should hold up for a long time. I recommend them highly. Buyers should remember that these are For Training ONLY! Never tie your dog out on a choke collar, even for a second. Used for the purpose intended, I am happy with these collars and will probably buy from Hot Dog again. Shipping was fast, website is user friendly, and products I purchased were high quality. Pricing was excellent.

  • Only problem with these collars is that the size measurement does not include the rings at each end as it does when you measure a chain collar. So what they are calling a 14 inch collar is in fact a 16 inch collar, an so on for every size.

  • Our Chocolate Lab weighs 130 lbs. and is very strong thus we had to use a choke chain collar because he is also the "boss". When I saw these rope collars I knew that they would be much more comfortable for him and so I ordered the first one which proved to be just right for him and his personality. I have since ordered two more -- he now sports green, red, and blue collars and a blue leash. The collars are very secure and one good thing about them is that you can throw them into the washing machine and they come out just like new. Wonderful product!
